Text Box: Happy Trails Riding Academy Upcoming Summer 2009 Events    

Text Box: Happy Trails’ Cowboy Day And Trail-a-thon   Happy Trails will be celebrating National Cowboy Day again this year by having our 3rd Trail-a-Thon on June 27.  Fifty riders will ride an obstacle trail course to raise money for Happy Trails.  In order to participate, each rider will be asked to raise a minimum of $150.  We will allow up to 10 siblings or volunteers to participate.  These riders must raise $150 as well.  Participation will be on a first come, first served basis.  Happy Trails rules and criteria apply to all riders. The event will begin at 7:00 am when riders will begin mounting and navigating the course.  There will be a pancake breakfast, fun activities and entertainment.  We will wrap things up around 11:00 am. Each participant will receive an event tee shirt, a certificate of completion and a ribbon.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 riders who raise the most money for Happy Trails.  If you would like to participate, call Lisa or Kathey at 688-8685 by June 1. Please use the enclosed form to record your donations.   Also included is a sponsor letter  and form for any individuals or businesses that may wish to be included.

Text Box: Fireworks Booth and Scrip Happy Trails’ volunteers will be manning the Downtown Visalia Kiwanis Fireworks booth located in the new Lowes parking lot on Demaree and Riggin, on July 4.  You can support Happy Trails in either of two ways: 1. You can purchase scrip for $10 that can be used on any day, but only at this location. A  portion of all of the scrip that Happy Trails sells is donated back to us. 2. You can volunteer to work in the booth. If you would like to purchase scrip or volunteer in the booth, please call Leslie at 688-8685.  Scrip will also be available at the barn.

Text Box: Summer Fun Club This summer we will be offering a 4 week (class) fun club.  Classes will held on Tuesday,  Wednesday or Thursday mornings at 8:00 or 9:15, July  7, 14, 21 and 28, July 8, 15, 22 and 29th., or July  9, 16, 23, and 30th.  Class size is limited to 4 riders, so we only have 24 spaces available.  Please call 688-8685 if you are interested.  We expect classes to fill quickly. Participation will be first come, first served basis.  Cost is $100 for the 4 week session, CVRC will be billed.
